All the nitty gritty chores required before we ride
We start the day grooming and tacking up, then have lessons, and our first trail ride, followed by lunch. Then we have TWO more trail rides, unsaddle, and brush out our horses, feed them, and take them back to pasture.
Q) What if my child needs an asthma inhaler or Epi-Pen or medication/food for a specific medical condition?
A) Parents must contact us before Wednesday to discuss and provide necessary medical devices such as asthma inhalers, Epi-Pens or other medications as needed.
Q) What if it rains, or we have a tornado alert for the day?
A) We will reschedule for the following Monday or Tuesday if it rains or we have to close due to severe weather alerts.
Q) What if my child is sick?
A) Your child can attend another session
Q) What about masks and Covid precautions?
A) We provide hand sanitizer and do our best to disinfect our air conditioned lovely restrooms. All of our staff and volunteers have had vaccines and boosters. However, due to the extreme safety precautions that are required around horses, face masks are prohibited. We must have clear and immediate communication at all times between youth and staff in order meet our safety regulations. Also horses require clear verbal commands from staff and riders.
